FARGO (KFGO) – Cass County Vector Control has scheduled truck-mounted ground spraying for mosquitos for Wednesday night in Fargo and West Fargo. Spraying is also scheduled in Moorhead Wednesday and Thursday night.
Vector Control says the cities are at the highest risk level for West Nile Virus. The application is targeted at severe, nuisance mosquito conditions and people should take all necessary precautions to avoid mosquito bites.
The insecticides are approved for residential areas and are non-toxic to people and pets.
Spraying in Fargo and West Fargo will get underway after 7:30p.m.. Moorhead spraying will take place around 8:15p.m..
