BARNES COUNTY, N.D. (KFGO) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified two Paynesville, Minnesota people involved in a motorcycle crash on Interstate-94 east of Valley City, Wednesday afternoon.
The driver, 66-year-old Dale Kuperus, died in the crash. The passenger, 39-year-old Brittany Layne, was seriously injured and taken to a hospital.
They were westbound on the interstate when the man lost control of the motorcycle and crashed into the median. Neither was wearing a helmet.
The crash remains under investigation.
