WINONA, Minn. – Charges are filed against two La Crosse, Wisconsin men accused of torturing a 3-year-old boy in Winona.
Jalil Wilson and Atzavesta Williams each face a child torture charge in Winona County. Prosecutors say both men were seen in videos of a child being tortured. Joseline Gundersen, 20 of Winona, was also arrested.
Police became aware of the torture after Gundersen’s coworkers reported she had shown them the videos. In the videos, the child’s wrists and ankles were bound together and his mouth was covered by duct tape.
Investigators say Williams put the duct tape on the child and Wilson wore a blanket and clown mask to scare the child.
