MOORHEAD (KFGO) — A Moorhead man is expected to face a number of charges after police say he stole an ATV and crashed it in north Moorhead Tuesday afternoon.
Officers responded to an injury rollover crash involving two people in the 2700 block of 6th Ave N. Investigators say 22-year-old Sufyan Alqawasmi was driving recklessly with a child on the ATV. He and the child were taken to a hospital by ambulance.
Police are requesting charges of felony possession of stolen property, and misdemeanor criminal vehicular operation, leaving the scene of a crash, and reckless driving.
