Rebecca JoAnne “Becky” (Lobitz) Buth, 68, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at Sanford on Broadway, Fargo, ND.
Becky was born on October 15, 1956, to Fred “Bud” and Beulah (Huesmann) Lobitz, in Moorhead, MN. She grew up in Sabin, MN, where she attended school through the 6th grade, and schools in Moorhead through the 12th grade, graduating in 1975 from Moorhead High School. She attended Cosmetology School, graduating in 1977. She began her career with Essentia Health, formerly Dakota Clinic, working various positions over the next 40 plus years, her most recent position being as an Audiology Assistant.
Becky enjoyed reading in her spare time, singing karaoke with her friends and family, and supporting her grandkids in their activities. She loved Saturday lunches with her friends and spending time at the lakes. She was always up for a chardonnay and a ribeye and was a great cook. Above all, she adored her grandchildren as they meant everything to her.
Becky is survived by her loving husband, Rodney Buth; children, Josh (Amanda) Buth, Nathan (Courtney) Buth, and Brianna (Kyle) Hamry; grandchildren, Hayden Buth, Hudson Buth, Elin Hamry, Lily Buth, Dawson Hamry, Grayson Buth, Stella Buth, and Emma Buth; siblings, Mike (Jolene) Lobitz, Pat (Brenda) Lobitz, and Tim (Jane) Lobitz, parents-in-law, Don and Bev Buth; siblings-in-law, Mark (Teresa) Buth, and Lori (Kevin) Venaas; many nieces and nephews; and many other loving relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Beulah; sisters, Sandy Rasmussen and Tami Enkers; and brother-in-law, Jeff Enkers.
Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., followed by the memorial service at 11:00 A.M., Friday, August 15, 2025, at the Lutheran Church of Christ the King, Moorhead, MN. A livestream of the service will be available on the funeral home website.
