BARNESVILLE, Minn. (KFGO) – Two people were injured following a crash on Highway 9, southwest of Barnesville in Wilkin County Sunday afternoon.
Minnesota State Patrol says an SUV driven by a 16-year-old girl from Kindred, North Dakota was heading westbound on County Road 30 and a pickup driven by 33-year-old Justin Affield of Kent, Minnesota was travelling south on Highway 9, when the two vehicles collided. Troopers say the road was wet at the time of the accident.
Both drivers received non-life-threatening injuries and the teen was taken to Essentia Health in Fargo for treatment.
The State Patrol was assisted by the Wilkin County Sheriff’s Office
