MOORHEAD (KFGO) – Minnesota State Moorhead has officially begun using a new university logo and mark. The single-color logo replaces the two-tone red and gray M with flame.
The university also says it now prefers to be known as “Minnesota State Moorhead.”
While still legally and officially Minnesota State University Moorhead, it is referring to itself on first reference as Minnesota State Moorhead and as Moorhead for short. MSUM is allowed for abbreviation.
The transition is the culmination of a yearlong brand refresh that modernizes and aligns the visual identity of MSUM.
