Black bear (MN DNR)
LANGDON, N.D. (KFGO) – A rural Langdon man has been charged with two misdemeanors for shooting and killing a black bear earlier this month.
The Cavalier County State’s Attorney’s Office has charged Robert Mackall, 51, with hunting or harassing game from a vehicle and unlawful possession of furbearers. The court complaint says the bear was shot May 9.
The charges are Class B misdemeanors. The maximum sentence is a $1,500 fine and 30 days in jail.
