small plane crashes into a home in Brooklyn Park, Minn.
BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. (KFGO AP) โ A small plane traveling from Iowa to Minnesota crashed Saturday afternoon in a residential area of a Minneapolis suburb, the Federal Aviation Administration said.
The aircraft crashed into a house in Brooklyn Park. No one inside the home was injured, but the fire chief in Brooklyn Park said there were no survivors on the plane. The FAA did not release how many people were on board the plane. The house caught fire on impact. The plane and the home were destroyed.
The single-engine SOCATA TBM7 plane departed from the Des Moines International Airport with a destination of the Anoka County-Blaine Airport.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating.
