MOORHEAD (KFGO) – Moorhead Police Officers have arrested a man for assault. Police responded to the 900 block of 17th Street South shortly before 3 a.m. Thursday. The suspect had fled the scene before police arrived. A Moorhead Police K9 was called in to assist in tracking the suspect but was unsuccessful.
A large police presence was in the area and officers were able to arrest the suspect, 32-year-old Sundance Blue who has no permanent address.
Blue is being held in the Clay County Jail for Domestic Assault, Domestic Assault Strangulation, Obstructing the Legal Process, and False Name to Police.
The victim in this incident was transported to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
