FARGO (KFGO) – The 25th annual Cares for Kids Radiothon wrapped up Friday afternoon at Midwest Communications in Fargo, and it was a record-breaker.
Children’s Miracle Network’s Hillery Mork says this year the fundraiser brought in $226,166 for Sanford Children’s Hospital, surpassing the previous record of $185,000, which was set last year.
Cares for Kids Radiothon, hosted by KFGO, Froggy 99.9, and Y94, was held Thursday and Friday and included inspiring stories of hope and courage. 100% of every dollar raised helps care for kids at Sanford by providing services, supplies, and research for kids at the hospital.
Families travel from across the state to receive care.
Donations can still be made at sanfordhealthfoundation.org.
