RAMSEY COUNTY N.D. (KFGO) – A Lakota, North Dakota man was seriously injured in a crash on U.S. Highway 2 about 3 miles east of Devils Lake Thursday.
The Highway Patrol says the 86-year-old pickup driver drove off the highway, went into the north ditch, and then struck several trees before coming to rest in the row of trees.
The driver was transported by ambulance to CHI St. Alexius Hospital in Devils Lake and later airlifted to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.
The crash remains under investigation.
