BINFORD, N.D. (KFGO) – Good news for Binford, North Dakota.
The State Department of Environmental Quality notified the town late Thursday afternoon that restrictions were lifted on water usage. The tests came back negative and the mains were flushed as a precaution.
On Wednesday, the state agency was called to investigate possible contamination in the water supply and told residents to refrain from drinking, cooking with, or bathing in it until they could determine whether it was safe.
Before the all-clear was given, city staff went door to door delivering water to residents.
