FARGO (KFGO) – A Fargo man is facing felony charges after he allegedly robbed a woman who gave him a ride and tried to force her into sexual acts.
Court records say a woman agreed to give 21-year-old Fidele Ndaruhutse a ride Thursday afternoon. While the woman was driving, Ndaruhutse shifted the vehicle into park, grabbed her hair, and demanded oral sex. The woman refused, and Ndaruhutse punched her in the face. He made her drive him to his destination, and took her purse when he got out of the car.
The victim called police, and found Ndaruhutse’s phone in her car. Officers searched apartments near where Ndaruhutse got out, and were able to use the phone to identify Ndaruhutse. He was arrested, as well as several others inside the apartment. Court records show officers found MDMA, meth paraphernalia, the victim’s stolen credit cards, and a scale inside the apartment. Police say one woman, Angela Rutlege, bit officers as they arrested her.
Ndaruhutse is charged with felony attempted gross sexual imposition and felony robbery. He’s held at the Cass County Jail on a $500 thousand cash-bond.
