West Fargo man arrested after being accused of threatening elementary school staff member

WEST FARGO (KFGO) – A West Fargo man has been arrested on a charge of terrorizing after police say he made a threat to a staff member at Westside Elementary School in West Fargo.  

James Arneson, 48, was arrested Wednesday shortly after 8 a.m. Police say he made the threat while on a bicycle Tuesday morning.  Police say Arneson and the staff member don’t know each other. The nature of the threat has not been disclosed. 

The school was placed under secure protocol out of precaution while the investigation was underway. Secure protocol was lifted Wednesday morning.

There is no threat to the public regarding this incident.
