ROLLINGSTONE, Minn. – The National Weather Service reported a tornado sighting in southeastern Minnesota for the second consecutive day.
The Weather Service office in La Crosse, Wisconsin, confirmed the tornado sighting in Rollingstone, about nine miles west of Winona Tuesday shortly after 6 p.m.
On Monday, a tornado was spotted near Hayfield, a community about 25 miles southwest of Rochester.
Severe storms affected Minnesota’s electric grid south of the Twin Cities, with utilities reporting thousands of customers without power Tuesday night.
