I’ve heard from friends for years, “have you seen that?” show or movie. It makes no difference. The answer is often, “no I haven’t”. Seriously I haven’t seen a single episode of Seinfeld and 99% of the movies I “should see” I never have and I never will. There’s good reason. #1 I spent my younger years outside playing football, baseball, fishing, hunting, trapping, basketball…just messing around. LaMoure didn’t have cable until the mid 80s so while city kids were watching MTV I was catching bullheads.
Movies? LaMoure had one movie theatre that would have one show each Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If it wasn’t G or PG I wasn’t going.
While I did see a few movies in the late 80s during high school in Valley City. Seldom did I ever see a movie twice. Why? I don’t understand watching a movie over and over and over?
While in college we had TV in the dorms but it was over antenna and honestly me and my friends didn’t care much about what was on TV. Good friends are like that 🙂
After college I literally lived in places like Kulm without TV. I didn’t even have one. Nor did I care. I went through about 10 years where I think I saw two movies.
Jerry McGuire and the other one? I forgot 🙂
Once we were married and had kids I didn’t have time for TV or movies and now that the kids are grown up. I don’t care much either to waste my time “watching” I’d rather go out and “do”
Go fishing, visit friends and family, go for a drive. But watch TV?
Sorry
