BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) – The deadline to apply for an opening on the North Dakota Board of Higher Education has been extended until May 6.
The original deadline was Wednesday. Board member John Warford did not apply for reappointment. His term ends June 30.
A five-member committee will make recommendations to Gov. Doug Burgum, who will make the appointment.
Graduates of NDSU are not eligible because the state constitution says no more than two graduates of a North Dakota University System school can serve at any one time.
