DETROIT LAKES, Minn. – Minn. Sen. Nicole Mitchell is speaking out for the first time after being charged with first-degree burglary in Becker County.
The Democratic senator from Woodbury was arrested Monday morning after being found in the basement of her stepmother’s home in Detroit Lakes.
Mitchell appeared in court Tuesday and was released from jail on the condition that she does not contact her stepmother.
