MARSHALL, Minn. (KFGO) – Police in southwest Minnesota say a standoff ended peacefully in Marshall after several hours of negotiations.
A 63-year-old man made threats and fired a handgun at an officer.
The officer escorted a family member to the house before the man barricaded himself inside.
Police used chemical agents to remove the man who fired additional rounds during negotiations.
He was eventually taken to the Lyon County jail once medically cleared.
