ST. PAUL – Veterans from around Minnesota are gathering at the State Capitol today (Wed) for the annual Veterans Day on the Hill. Trent Dilks is with the Disabled-American Veterans of Minnesota.
Trent Dilks with the Disabled-American Veterans of Minnesota. says it’s an opportunity for veterans, their spouses, and supporters to come together. There will be educational information at Cedar Street Armory in St. Paul, then a march up to the Capitol, and then a rally in the Rotunda.
Dilks says one of their top legislative priorities when they meet with House and Senate legislators is updating the property tax value exclusion for seriously disabled veterans.
