LINTON, N.D. (KFGO) – The body of a Bismarck man who was missing for almost five months was found Sunday on the shore of the Missouri River in south central North Dakota.
Matthew Middlesteadt was reported missing in November and detectives found his vehicle near the Memorial Highway Bridge in Bismarck.
Using surveillance cameras, investigators saw Middlesteadt park his car and walk to the bridge, but never saw him come back. Middlesteadt’s body was found in Emmons County and was identified by autopsy.
Police do not suspect a crime in his death.
