NEW LONDON, Minn. – Three children were hurt when the UTV they were in collided with a pickup in Kandiyohi County, Minnesota
The State Patrol says the crash happened just before 4 p.m. Sunday at an intersection near New London.
A pickup driven by 40-year-old Matthew Anderson of Sunburg was going east on the highway and the UTV was going south when they collided.
The driver of the UTV was a 15-year-old boy. His two passengers, a 10-year-old boy, and an 11-year-old boy, both from New London, were all taken to Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis. The passengers had life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the truck was not injured. Road conditions were snowy and icy at the time of the crash.
