MINNEAPOLIS – A Minneapolis man is pleading guilty to criminal vehicular homicide in connection with the death of Rev. Dennis “Denny” Dempsey in Dakota County.
According to police, a vehicle driven by 28-year-old Trejean Curry struck 73-year-old Dempsey while he was riding his bike on Oct. 25, 2021 in Rosemount. Dempsey was a priest at the Church of the Risen Savior in Burnsville.
A judge ordered a pre-sentence investigation and set the sentence hearing for Feb. 15.
