Donald Trump was convicted of sexual abuse, and the judge went as far as to call him a rapist. It’s hard to find anything more disgusting than that, but every day we find out how hard he tries to outdo it. This week we found out that Trump directed people working for our country to never let a wounded soldier near him. He said it wouldn’t look good for him, people don’t want to see it, and they were symbols of losers.
All of that was confirmed by John Kelly, a Marine Corps general that was the longest-serving White House chief of staff for Donald Trump, as well as Mark Milley, a retired United States Army general who served as the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. These two men were willing to call him out on this bullshit, and one of them lost his son in a war while serving our country.
It’s just plain wrong.

The Republicans in North Dakota got caught. For years, they’ve been hiding appropriations into the final bill of the legislative session. Appropriations that never had a hearing or was passed in the first place. It was money that was used for pet projects that only leaders could plug in.
But then they got sued. Sued for not understanding the separation of powers. They used their power to get legislators onto boards they never should’ve been on, and forced the North Dakota Supreme Court to rule on the legality of placing legislators onto the PERS (Public Employees Retirement System) Board. Their answer being a question itself. How can they rule on legislation so full of crap, and rule on just one section?
So here we go. We’ll get a special session with no concern of the cost to the taxpayers. They have to fix a mess Republicans created that was signed by a Governor currently running around the country trying to be President. The same Governor that, like any good CEO, promised to check every detail.
Or was that just making sure it didn’t include hot lunch?
Good riding with you,
Joel
