HUDSON, Wisc. – Authorities in Washington County, Minnesota and western Wisconsin are investigating the deaths of two boaters on the St. Croix River.
The St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office received the report of a fishing boat going in circles and a body in the water Tuesday morning near Troy Beach. Washington County deputies located the boat and divers later recovered a man’s body.
Crews said they discovered the body of a second man just before 6 p.m. Tuesday. Investigators are still trying to determine what led to the incident.
