ST. PAUL, Minn. – Just one day after she was introduced as Minnesota’s first ever Director of Cannabis Management, Erin Dupree informed Gov. Tim Walz that she would not take the position after all.
Dupree was introduced Thursday, but resigned after a report came out indicating she illegally sold THC products from her low-dose hemp business ‘Loonacy’ in Apple Valley.
Dupree said she never knowingly sold any illegal products, and when she became aware of them, they were removed from inventory.
