FREDENBERG, Minn. (KFGO) – A 17-year-old boy escaped without injury after he lost control of his car and wound up in Island Lake in northeastern Minnesota.
According to the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Department, the boy was driving on Bear Island Road in Fredenberg Township around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday when he lost control of the car on wet pavement, swerved to miss a tree, and drove into the lake.
The boy got out of the car on his own. The Sheriff’s Department said there were no signs of impairment.
