BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – WestJet airlines will be flying in and out of Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport this summer.
MSP spokesman Jeff Lea said the first new route begins Friday.
“One of the promising air service developments this year is the addition of WestJet which is the second biggest Canadian airline that’ll serve western Canada, primarily Edmonton and Saskatoon. Those were two routes previously served by Delta before the pandemic,” Lea said.
Lea said the WestJet routes have connectivity with Delta flights. The service between MSP and Edmonton starts Friday and the route to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan begins on June 19th.
