DEWITT, N.Y (KFGO) – The North Dakota State College of Science Softball team captured the college’s first national championship over the weekend.
The Wildcats scored six runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to win the NJCAA DIII National Championship 13-12 over Corning, NY. Lara Dolezal singled up the middle on an 0-2 count, sending Karissa Comer and Tarin Thomas home to complete the wildest comeback in NJCAA World Series history.

Corning had previously beaten NDSCS in the semifinals, 3-2. Some are saying it is the best comeback in college softball history.
