WASHINGTON CO. MINN – Authorities are trying to determine why a small plane crashed late Saturday afternoon along the St. Croix River south of Stillwater, Minn.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office says the single-passenger aircraft crashed in a field in Baytown Township. The pilot was able to walk to a nearby road to meet responding deputies and was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The Federal Aviation Administration is leading the investigation.
