WATERTOWN, S.D. – A Connecticut man was arrested in Watertown and facing charges related to several sex-related crimes during two incidents earlier this week.
According to Watertown Police, officers were called on the morning of Dec. 26 after a report of an attempted sexual assault.
The suspect, Davon Brown, 22, fled the scene before officers got there, but was spotted and arrested during a traffic stop about four hours later.
In a separate incident that same day, Brown is accused of soliciting a minor for sex.
Brown, of New Haven, Connecticut, is charged with Third Degree Attempted Rape, False Imprisonment, Hiring for Sexual Activity, Indecent Exposure and Simple Assault.
Brown’s bond for both incidents is set at $15,000 total. He is being held in the Codington County Detention Center.
