DULUTH, Minn. – A week-long celebration of Bob Dylan is underway in Duluth.
Dylan, who was born in Duluth and grew up in Hibbing, will turn 81 years old on Tuesday.
Events started off with tours of Bob Dylan sites, Dylan Fest music with self-guided tours of Bob Dylan sites and a Dylan Fest kick-off party, and an acoustic jam session.
Other events during the week include a front porch birthday party at Dylan’s childhood home on Tuesday, a singer-songwriter contest Friday, and a Music of Bob Dylan Concert at the Sacred Heart Music Center on Saturday, May 28.
