Vent your ice shelter
Carbon monoxide poisoning can pose a real danger for ice anglers in shelters! Take steps to keep you and your family safe by using heaters properly (following the manufacturer’s directions) and making sure there’s plenty of ventilation inside your ice shelter. Also, be sure to install a carbon monoxide detector inside your shelter if it’s not already equipped with one.
