MOORHEAD (KFGO) – Three people have been arrested in connection with an attempt to steal a man’s car at gunpoint in Moorhead.
Police responded to Travel Mart on Highway 75 North shortly after 3:30 p.m. Thursday. A man was in his car at the gas pumps when police say another man got into the passenger side, showed a gun and ordered the victim out of the car. The victim managed to get inside the convenience store where an employee locked the door.
The armed man approached the door, but left in the car he had arrived in. Police then made a traffic stop. The main suspect was identified and a handgun was recovered.
Arrested were 28-year-old Emmanuel Reynoza with no permanent address, 25-year-old Kyla Belgarde of Fargo and 33-year-old Isaac Granados of Chicago.
The Clay County Attorney’s Office will determine charges.
