Lawrence (Larry) Charles Hansen, 71, West Fargo, ND passed away at St. Catherine’s North (Rosewood on Broadway) in Fargo, ND, under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley on Monday, November 19th. Lawrence was born to Gladys and Walter Hansen on November 21, 1949, in Moorhead, MN. He married Margaret (Clark) Hansen on January 16, 1985.
Lawrence graduated from Moorhead High School. He then attended Moorhead AREA Technical Institue earning a culinary degree in 1969. Lawrence was a Chef in the Fargo/Moorhead and Minneapolis areas his entire working career.
Lawrence leaves behind his wife Margaret, the love of his life, sister, Janice Lindgren, and brother LeRoy (June) Hansen. He also leaves behind nephew, Matt Hansen, and nieces Andrea (Michael) Bishop, Lesley (Dennis) Hulne, Julie (Bryan) Loff and Kathy (Jerry) Olson, and many great nieces and nephews.
Lawrence is preceded in death by his mother and father, Gladys and Walter, sister, Loretta and brother-in-law David Lindgren.
