| Jimmie Bertsch, 62, Casselton ND passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Sanford Hospital on Broadway in Fargo, ND.
Jimmie Dean Bertsch was born on September 17, 1959 to Ronald and LaVerne (Neumiller) Bertsch in Carrington, ND. He was raised on the family farm and graduated from Bowdon (ND) High School. He later attended technical school in Bismarck and then returned to work with his family on the farm. Jimmie met Brenda Boyle in 1997 at the marriage of his brother to Brenda’s sister. Jimmie quickly became a father figure to Brenda’s kids without hesitation. They resided on the family farm until moving to Casselton in 2003. He started working in environmental services at Sanford Hospital on University Drive in Fargo where he worked until his death from COVID. He was proud of his “Old Farm Truck” which he had purchased brand new. He loved his dog, gardening, fishing and especially his grandchildren. Jimmie survived by Brenda’s children, Joni (James) Rosenbury and Jonathan Boyle, both of Casselton; grandchildren: Catilynn, Nevaeh, Micah and Nicholi Rosenbury; brothers, Ronald (Cindy) Bertsch, Jr. of West Fargo, ND and Jerry (Karen) Bertsch, Loveland, CO; nieces and nephews, Brian, Carrie, Dacia, Kasey, Gina, Corey and Danae. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant sister and his life partner Brenda, Visitation: Friday, Sept. 24, 2021 from 6 to 8 PM at West Funeral Home, West Fargo. |
