What’s your a/c set at? Have you ever set it a little warmer or colder to see how you react?
Do you ever intentionally make yourself uncomfortable? Have you set your alarm a half-hour early just because? Have you ordered a random food or stopped at a restaurant you normally wouldn’t?
This summer I think I’m going to intentionally make more choices of places, food and activities I’ve never done or maybe haven’t enjoyed in the past. The first thing is setting my alarm a little later. I often get up so I have more time than I need. Why? Have we gotten to soft?
I quit running years ago (but kept walking) and now this past weekend I forced myself to start running again. It’s mentally and physically challenging and feels good. I’m mixing up my routine.
Do we realize how when we are a little uncomfortable is it a state of mind? Can we do like Paul in The Bible wrongly imprisoned but making the most of his circumstances?
