Biden to double funding to U.S. program that helps prepare for extreme weather events -Washington Post

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. President Joe Biden on Monday will pledge $1 billion to a U.S. government program called Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities that helps communities prepare for extreme weather events, doubling the available funding, the Washington Post reported.
