Marcia M. Binford

Marcia Stoterau, daughter of Harvey and Nora Stoterau, was born May 11, 1939, in Luverne, MN. She graduated from high school in Luverne in 1957. It was there that she met the love of her life, Larry Binford. They were married on December 28, 1958. In February of 1959, they relocated to Moorhead, MN.

Marcia loved the Lord and was an active member of Triumph Lutheran Brethren Church in Moorhead. The most important things in her life were to have Jesus in her heart and to be a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Marcia truly loved a good bargain.

Marcia is survived by her husband, Larry; daughters, Tammy (Doug) Underwood and Michelle (Dave) Wightman; a son, Brad; a brother, Dale Stoterau; a sister, Karol (Jerry) Mohs; grandchildren, Melissa (Fred) Beumer, Ben (Jenn) Underwood, Joey (Natalie) Underwood, Jake Underwood and Emily Underwood; and great-granddaughter, Stella Beumer. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Gene Stoterau; and a granddaughter, Paige Wightman.

Memorial donations can be made to Triumph Lutheran Brethren Church of Moorhead or MS Society of North Dakota.

Marcia’s memorial service will be held Friday, April 16, 2021, at 11 AM in Triumph Lutheran Brethren Church, East in Moorhead.
