Erma (Goter) Lindvall passed away peacefully March 31, 2021 at the Nelson County Health Care Center in McVille, North Dakota. Erma was born April 20,1925 near Woodworth, ND in Conklin Township to Ernst and Elsie (Reiman) Goter. She attended a country school for her early years and later Woodworth High School. She graduated from Chicago School of Nursing with a degree in Practical Nursing in March of 1948.
Erma married Oscar Lindvall Nov.1,1952 in Omaha, Nebraska. They had one daughter, Marcia. Erma and Oscar made their home on a farm near McVille. Oscar passed away in Nov. of 1981. Erma spent the last three years in the Nelson County Health Care Center.
Erma worked a number of years at the McVille Hospital, was a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary, a member of McVille Lutheran where she taught Sunday School and served on the Ladies Aid. She served 22 years for the McVille Community Ambulance.
Erma is survived by her daughter, Marcia Norman; grandsons Austen and Aaron and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, siblings; Ester Schuler, Walter Goter, Luella Mayer, Diana Ball, Seiman Goter and infant sister, Erlina
