FARGO (KFGO) – Fargo police have arrested a woman for the murder of a 15-month-old girl. Brandi Adeleke, 37, of Fargo, was arrested after a lengthy investigation into the death of Meka Ducheneaux.
Police were called to a home in the 2300 block of 17th St. S. on November 20 on a report of an unresponsive child. The toddler was taken to a hospital and died after several days on life support.
The medical examiner’s determined the death was a homicide. Adeleke was taken into custody Thurs. night.
