WAHPETON, N.D. (KFGO) – A fire caused heavy damage to a house in Wahpeton.
Firefighters responded to the call at 424 2nd Street South Sunday shortly before 8:30 a.m.
Smoke was coming from the house when crews arrived. The fire was extinguished in about 10 minutes. Firefighters were on scene about an hour-and-half making sure there were no hot-spots.
According to Richland County Emergency Manager Brett Lambrecht, the house was in the process of being remodeled so no one was living there.
The cause is under investigation
