BISMARCK, N.D. – The number of active COVID-19 cases have dropped for two straight days, including 301 fewer cases in the last day.
Active cases in the state reached a record number of 2,653 on Sunday. That has been reduced by 389 in the last two days, for a total of 2,264. Hospitalizations have dropped by five in the last day, to 63, and for the second straight day there were no new deaths. The number of deaths is 156.
The COVID Tracking Project reports that North Dakota ranks first in the country in the number of new cases in the last two weeks.
