FRANKLIN, WI- The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks shut out the Milwaukee Milkmen 7-0 Saturday night.
The RedHawks got on the board in the top of the second inning with a Christian Ibarra RBI double that scored Dario Pizzano to take a 1-0 lead.
The ‘Hawks added to their lead in the top of the third inning when Pizzano was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded scoring Correlle Prime. Ibarra drew a walk to plate Drew Ward giving the RedHawks a 3-0 lead.
Leo Pina plated 2 runs with a double in the top of the fourth inning to lift Fargo-Moorhead to a 5-0 lead
The ‘Hawks added 2 more runs in the top of the ninth inning to take the 7-0 victory.
The RedHawks and Milkmen are back in action Sunday, pregame at 12:10 p.m. first pitch 1:00 p.m. on 740 The Fan.
