ST. PAUL, Minn. – A Republican state senator says the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice has dismissed complaints challenging his medical license over comments he made about the coronavirus.
Sen. Scott Jensen of Chaska announced Monday that the board informed him it had completed its review and “dropped the complaints” without taking action on his medical license.
The board’s executive director, Ruth Martinez, said she could not confirm Jensen’s claim.
Jensen says he does not know who filed the two complaints against him. No one has come forward publicly. The freshman senator is a family physician. He is not running for reelection.
