In a game where nobody was sure would be played due to pregame rainstorms, Northern Cass rallied for their first win in the North Dakota Impact Softball League over May-Port CG by a score of 13-5.
After May-Port CG took a 3-1 lead in the top of the second inning, Northern Cass came back with ten unanswered runs over the next four innings to take a commanding 11-3 lead.
The run was sparked by Northern Cass’s Abby Richman, who hit a go ahead 3-run home run in the bottom of the second innning.
Northern Cass improves to a 1-4 record this season while May-Port CG falls to 2-4. Each team will have the weekend off before being back in action next week.
