FARGO, N.D. (KFGO) – Drekker Brewing Company and the FM Area Foundation are teaming up to raise funds for hospitality industry employees in the Fargo-Moorhead area who are out of work due to the coronavirus epidemic
Drekker is brewing a beer called “All Together” with proceeds going to the affected bar and restaurant workers who have been laid off or had their income cut. The beer is being brewed this week and Drekker hopes to have it available for sale by late this month.
Jesse Feigum, co-owner of Drekker Brewing says the money will go directly to those in need. “People who have been helping us by serving and selling our beer and helping us grow for years now, so we hope we can raise enough money to help them out in these uncertain times.”
Fargo Underground, an on-line information site for entertainment at local bars and restaurants is assisting by creating the “altogetherfm.com” website which has a sign-up form for impacted workers to register for financing help.
