BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) – The North Dakota Department of Health has made some significant changes to a quarantine order issued Saturday.
The original order said travelers who planned to return to North Dakota or had already returned from international travel or 23 states the CDC has classified as having widespread cases of coronavirus to self-quarantine for 14 days.
Sunday, the state issued an amendment that removed travelers who have already turned to the state in the last 14 days. The change also exempts those working in 20 different job sectors, including health care, food and agriculture, transportation, critical manufacturing, government operations, and energy.
The health department said those workers returning need to limit interactions with others as much as possible and monitor themselves for 14 days.
