FARGO, N.D. (KFGO) – The high winds that hit the Fargo during Monday night’s storm left a lot of tree damage.
Fargo city forestry crews were out clearing the worst damage as soon as the storm subsided. John Kalenze is with a forestry team who were working in the 1300 block of 4th Street North, around 10 p.m. who was taking down a huge tree that split, causing a potential threat to a nearby house.
Not nearly as severe as a late June storm that caused heavy tree damage throughout much of Fargo and took weeks to clean up, Kalenze said clearing up Monday night’s damage still means lots of work and said, “this is deja vu all over again.”
